Made-up logo
[edit]The logo for Amon is made-up, one of several put up by (IIRC) a French fansite a decade ago where they couldn't find the real badges and just did some fancy fonts instead. The real Amon logo - Chris' helmet, basically, can be seen plain as day on the photo of the car. This page just propogates the myth that those logos floating around the web are real rather than made-up.

- I've updated the logo image file (File:Amon (Formula One team) (logo).png) to the correct logo - sourced from the French Wikipedia. DH85868993 (talk) 21:50, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
- Actually, it's still not quite correct - the logo as it appears on the nose of the car also contains the helmet visor (see this image). Well, at least it's more correct than it was... I'll keep looking for a good image of the logo as it appeared on the nose of the car. DH85868993 (talk) 22:14, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks! At a quick glance BRP, Connaught, Connew, LDS (automobile) and Maki Engineering have logos from the same batch. BRP's was basically a variation on BRM's; Connauhgt's is here, Maki's 'press' badge was this, though I think it was simplified to just the black text for the front of the car. I've never found one for LDS, but then I've never looked that hard... I wish I could credit sources for those badges but they've just been collected from the web over the years, so not sure how they factor in for fair use on Wikipedia. 79.79.97.123 (talk) 21:40, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
