I will be reviewing this in time. It's worth reviewing and needs a lot too. Thanks for your contributions while we clear the backlog. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 07:58, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Lede[edit]

  • Consider using a semicolon after "so": it will create a stronger separation between the two independent clauses about the film's narration and the featured appearances.
  • This line both of whom joined the demonstrators in support of Kehler and Corner can be slightly condensed. Perhaps An Act of Conscience is narrated by actor Martin Sheen, who volunteered his time to do so; the film features appearances by Jesuit priest and anti-war activist Daniel Berrigan, as well as political folk singer Pete Seeger, both in support of Kehler and Corner.

Background[edit]

  • Randy Kehler and Betsy Corner. Identify their relationship by adding "his wife"
  • In 1977, Kehler and Corner stopped paying federal income taxes as a protest against war and military spending, though they continued to pay their state and local taxes. Avoiding names and using a phrase like "a couple who practiced war tax resistance" can be more relatable and instead of calling the name, use "both" or "the couple"
