The last sentence of the section Word Useage and Related Terms is as follows:

"A bayou is often anabranch."

Does it mean "a bayou is often an an anabranch", or "a bayou is often anabranched?". As it stands, I do not believe it is proper English grammer, or even makes sense. I'd correct it if I knew which was true but I don't so I won't. Is there anyone who does know and is willing to remedy this? Shanoman (talk) 15:34, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Darling River Anabranch[edit]

The main article on the Darling River seems not to mention the Anabranch. Presumably, this section of the Darling River technically constitutes a delta into the Murray River. The article on the Murray-Darling Basin mentions a different anabranch of the Murray (the Edward River). 121.209.192.48 (talk) 23:10, 3 December 2011 (UTC) Ian Ison[reply]

Terminology[edit]

I hit this page after running into some terminology problems in a paper. It answered all my questions in the first two sections. Remarkable. Obviously a great deal more can and ought to be included in a full-scale article, but more articles ought to start with a little glossary, as this one does. Pregolya River[edit]

Is the Pregolya River a European example? It features in the Königsberg bridges problem, and for several kilometers upstream of the city it has two roughly parallel branches. 130.243.68.165 (talk) 13:26, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
