mistakes

[edit]

This article contains many mistakes. Compare with the German article. Stiborius wrote in 1514 a proposal for a new Calendar, together with Tannstetter. So he did not die in 1510, but in 1515. The cited work "Indices ..." refers to the "Viri Mathematici" of Georg Tannstetter, see Viri Mathematici in the German Wikipedia. And the note 2 leads to another work. -- Graf-Stuhlhofer (talk) 10:00, 31 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The wrong death year was copied from the German Wikipedia in this edit. before that, we had the correct 1515 :-) Lupo 18:14, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Article completely rewritten, and moved to the correct spelling. Andreas Stiborius is a redirect to here; I chose to locate the article at Andreas Stöberl to simplify things down the road if we should ever get an article about the other Andreas Stiborius. Lupo 14:15, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
