Platform height

"Platform height 2,160 mm" cannot possibly be correct. Perhaps this should be 1160mm?

It is written 1260 mm floor height from t.o.r (top of rail?) in that document. Maybe it was a typo in that document which was corrected. --BIL (talk) 08:10, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Railwaygazette states http://www.railwaygazette.com/nc/news/single-view/view/first-albatros-trainset-on-test-at-velim.html With first class accommodation in three vehicles, the trains will have seats for 127 first class and 419 second class passengers

There is a seating diagram at http://www.hstrain.ansaldobreda.it/public/treni/v250/pdf/v250.pdf from this I count 122 1st [2+1], (35+79+79+79+79+68) = 419 2nd [2+2]..??

trains shortest in service -- does this one break a record with 39 days

With the current news that some of the trains score over 2000 penalty points (10 is limit for immediate removal from service) the financial situation of the manufacturer and the statement of the operators that they will cancel the contract.........


This train has been in service from Dec 9 2012 tot Jan 17 2013 or 39 Days........ And it is unlikely it will ever enter service again

It's hard to verify and define, so we might not want to bother making such claims to avoid any WP:OR concerns. It could be easier to verify for high speed trains. It is however uncertain what will happen with the trains from now on. (It is not impossible that they will get a refurbish and resume some operation somewhere), and that there is some replacement on the HSL-ZUIDHSL4 Amsterdam-Brussels. So very hard to define what would constitute the record. It would be hard to imagine that there hasn't been any rail project in the past 300 years that lasted less than a month. while i am certain that there have been many projects that didn't last that long, i really doubt you would find any that went into commercial service and failed so quickly. Basicly, the trains should never have been allowed to enter service. Blokker 1999 (talk) 17:22, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
