Name of Reserve in English

[edit]

The term "lagoon" is a transliteration of laguna from Spanish. However, the use of "laguna" in this case is particular to the volcanic crater lakes in Central America, which constitutes a use of the term distinct from "lagoon", which is an entirely different geographic feature. It should be called "Lake Apoyo" or "Laguna de Apoyo". This change should be reflected as well in the article title. It should be called a "nature reserve" not a "natural reserve", also. Geography and hydrology, last sentence

[edit]

It says:

According to Nicaraguan hydrologists, the lake's level dropped 10 m in some 30 years between 2002 and the mid-2000s.[4]

huh? Was it over 3 years, not 30? Was it over 30 years ending in 2002 or the 'mid-2000s'? OsamaBinLogin (talk) 23:20, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
