St Notker

[edit]

Hello, the article on Notker says April 7. Is there a reason he is here? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 12:32, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Probably an older tradition for the feast day, as kept by the Benedictines. There is a footnote in the article for St. Notker at the Orthodox England website. It has a brief discussion of the sources used for the Latin Saints on their site here. In particular they mention "the 13 huge volumes, twelve monthly volumes (Menologia) and an Index Volume, of the Benedictines of Paris published by Letouzey and Ane between 1935 and 1958."
