Description section

[edit]

The description section which I removed was taken pretty much sentence for sentence from http://www.numberonestars.com/travel/arcetri_florence.htm - this was evidently done with the best of intentions, as the web page was carefully added as a reference to each paragraph; also, the sentences were slightly re-formulated - for example:

"Much of the old-world charm of Poggio Imperiale has disappeared with the appearance of a row of brand - new little villas, and the construction of the tram-line, by which the hissing train conveys the world to Galuzzo and the Certosa of Val d'Ema."

had become

"Much of the charm of old-world di Poggio Imperiale has disappeared with the appearance of a row of brand-new villas recently, and the construction of the tram line, with the whistle of the train carrying the world to Galuzzi and the Certosa di Val d 'Ema."

Again, the careful referencing shows that this was done with the best of intentions. But technically, this still amounts to moving a copyrighted text into Wikipedia - slight alterations of this kind do not change that fact, so I've removed the section.
