Coventry (inactive)

There is some confusion as to where Arden cars were made. Most sources give the location as Balsall Heath, Coventry but there does not seem to be a Balsall Heath in Coventry. The main, or only, one is just south of Birmingham city centre. It is quite possible that all the sources are quoting from a common mistake and I repeated the error in adding Balsall Heath to this entry.

There are several possibilities-

The car was made in Balsall Heath, Birmingham.
It was made in Coventry at an uncertain location.
It was made in Balsall Common which is now in Solihull but is nearer Coventry than it is to Birmingham.
It was made somewhere completely diferent!!

I have done some more research and found a bit more about Arden cars but am no wiser as to where they were made.Malcolma 09:36, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
