Liquid boosters

The article states that at the time Ariane 4 was being developed, liquid boosters were rare 'having only previously been used in the Chinese space program.'

While counted as Stage 1, technically all R-7 derived orbital rockets up to the Soyuz 2-1v have 4 liquid fueled boosters. R-7 derived orbital launch vehicles accounted for Over 1/3 of the total number of orbital launches up to 1989[1], so they can't be considered rare. AmigaClone (talk) 10:41, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
