Untitled[edit]

I'd like to know why I can't build a page with information about Artur Cimirro (myself) if I'm myself the owner of the rights of my photos and texts.

Off topic venting - closed per author's request

It seems If I'm a pornstar there is no problem to put own informations on wikipedia, but for a serious professional it is? I'm not trying to sell CDs in wikipedia or making bad marketing as several ones from the big media are, so what is the problem?

What kind of moderation are you doing? robots? or this is just someone who deslike my work trying to boycott anything related to me? why my name is alsways under deletion? am i "Persona non Grata"?

Must I consider Wikipedia a place for the great midia only? or if someone make serious work can really be added here?

Please anwer this, thank you in advance

All the best Artur Cimirro

For legal reasons, we can't accept copyrighted work without getting explicit permission from the author. Obviously, you can't do that through a wiki page, since there's no way to authenticate your identity.
The good new is, please click here: WP:DCP and carefully read and follow the instructions. Best wishes. - MrX 17:14, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because I'm the owner of the rights, I tryed to create an account with my name "Artur Cimirro" and the wikipedia doesn't allow me to save a webpage about me becaue it is an "autobiography" I'm not trying to make autobiography, I'm trying to put information about my work as pianist and composer and I know several people who did that and they had no problems with this. So, what can I do? I have all the informations, I'm not writing my opinion, just information about what I have made.

Also I have seen some people made in the past (specially the user "basemetal" who is someone from Europe as far as I know) a page about me which was deleted, there was a mistake about my birth date and other things. No one better than me to give informations since some people (from wikiṕedia discussion) seems unable to find information about me via google

If you followed the instructions and contacted WMF correctly, they will place a tag on this page once they have validate that you have given the proper permission. This could take from a few hours to a few days. You did send an email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, right? - MrX 17:51, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Links to justify a better complete biography and lists of works[edit]

Dear members 1 - At this link: http://cabardieses.amis.free.fr/page32/page23/page12/ one can read: "Virtuose. Le pianiste brésilien Artur Cimirro pourrait être la réincarnation de Liszt. foudroyant son public par sa virtuosité hors du commun. Ce sera l’un de ses premiers récitals en France : ne manquez pas le concert de vendredi." These were words of Françoise Choveaux artistic director of the Cabardièses de Pennautier Piano Festival. It is in french, but I'm sure any editor know how to translate. This answer the "by whom" in the article.

2 - Many of compositions are published and available in CDs recorded by Acte Prealable, can someone add the list of works back? 3 - same for the "transcriptions section" by the way, some of these are in CDs recorded by Warner Classics and Ad Vitam records too. two examples you can see me as arranger: https://www.warnerclassics.com/release/solo https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/products/8610951--ouvres-pour-la-main-gauche-anthologie-vol-6 https://www.advitam-records.com/catalogue/50-oeuvres-pour-la-main-gauche-vol6

I wonder if Philip Glass list of works is acceptable from his website for wikipedia, why mine is not? ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_compositions_by_Philip_Glass ) Please check the links for Philip Glass. If my website is not reliable then Philip Glass website is not reliable too. (and I can list many "list of works" by classical famous composers/arrangers/transcribers which were never deleted in wikipedia.

4 - Concerning the "SCIENTIFIC SYSTEM OF INTERPRETATION OR MUSICAL HERMENEUTICS" it is also mentioned as part of my works. I do not make deal with any website to sell the book as I do not want people making money from my ideas, but is mentioned in all my work and the interested people must contact me in order to have the book. Many students and teachers over the world already have it and I have been in many places giving master-classes on that. Here in Russian: https://www.muzklondike.ru/events/arturo_simikho_master_klass_gnesinka

It is mentioned in this interview in portuguese: https://movimento.com/arthur-cimirro-um-artista-polemico/ (english version availabe in my website)

I spoke about the Scientific System in this video made by the TV from the Brazilian Senate (TV Senado): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywZmA1oAByA

It is also mentioned on this documentary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6YJ_w6Qfbc&list=UUR1wMpBHD_XljXTuBpjrqfQ&index=33&t=0s

also in the audios for the studio master classes at this link: http://opusdissonus.com.br/masterclasses/index.htm

So this is a contribution of mine to the music history, one can find in this last link the master-class about Beethoven where I give examples on mistakes which were made by all pianists of all the time since the recording machines started to work - if this is of no big relevance to classical music then I do not know what is.

4 - You removed this: "In 2011 he was invited by Stuart & Sons Handcrafted Pianos to make recordings and concerts in Australia, the result of this tour is the CD & DVD "Cimirro plays Stuart & Sons in Terra Australis".[1]"

This CD is not available anymore in the market, so it is not a self promotion and you can check this easily. Also this was a special CD made to promote a quite rare piano model with 102 keys and 4 pedals, so I still think it is worth mentioning this because I was the one of the few composers who really composed new music for pianos with 102 keys and 108 keys as you can see in different links again - this is of historical interest for any classical piano researcher: https://www.stuartandsons.com/108keys.html https://www.factsandarts.com/index.php/music-reviews/no-its-not-crazy-want-20-more-keys-your-piano https://www.worldpianonews.com/new-product/acoustic/first-nine-octave-piano/

And here a thesis by Kevin Hunt where part of my compositions for 102/108 keys are shown: https://kevinhunt.com.au/thesis/

I hope these links are reliable enough this time. All the best Artur Cimirro — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oberman (talkcontribs) 08:26, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
