That's much better redirection. --Akariko (talk) 17:10, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal for a Disambiguation Article[edit]

I think this should redirect to moped rather than motorized bicycle

As I understand it, a Motorized bicycle is a bicycle to which has been added a motor or engine of some type; cyclemotor seems to be a contemporaneous term meeting this definition better

Whereas in a Moped, while it might have peddles, the engine and cycle are an integrated whole. In the early 1950s, autocycles where of this type and marketed as such

And of course, just to be more confusing, various states in USA (Texas, Indiana[1]) have declared autocycles to be three-wheeled machines

Is there such a thing as a disambiguation 'article'?

Sources[edit]

Please provide sources for your unsubstantiated claims. As per WP:OR, you can't simply write about something you think deserves an article. Simply reverting is considered edit-warring. And if you revert again, you'll be in violation of the WP:3RR rule. Onel5969 TT me 14:15, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The existing stub was a close paraphrase of an existing bill. There is an existing article on this subject, which covers all forms of three-wheeled vehicles. Any pertinent information can be added there. Onel5969 TT me 16:16, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I was working on it when you redirected it. However, yes, the 3-wheeler article would cover this as well. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 16:21, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
