ugh y won't anyone answer!?

[edit]

listening to music i remember resorte a really cool band in their time, but i don't know if they still exist y don't you take them into account in this movement?

Because Resorte is a band from Mexico City, not Monterrey.

Excuse the interruption, I really don't know how to use this tool but I want to tell you that this is all a lie.

The AVANZADA REGIA IS A COMPLIATION CD THAT METAL GROUPS RELEASED, also the dates that the fresa Monterrey rock and roll was having success. Definitely some very good bands came onto the scene, but this term "avanzada regia" was used by Mexico City people. if you google the term avanzada regia you will bfind that there is a group named ira they were the ones who really promoted this chatter.

thanks!

Remember that seattle was the birthplace of grunge and many bands came from there

resrte is not part of the avanzada regia cuz non of their originl members(1997-2000) was from monterrey

now i understand, thanks a lot buddy, the thing about seattle i didn't know and i had thought incorrectly that resorte was from MTY, thanks a lot

In reality the "seattle of mexico" was born due to a similarity in the birth of bands with resorte or without resorte monterrey was a city at the forefront of the rock movement;the term avanzada regia was applied in entertainment journalism in mexico city and in monterrey, i've had the opportunity to chat with several of the people who were part of this "movement" and they've commented that it was just a screen, that is, a single event was paid for themor they gave them the treatment they gave musicians from Mexico City (i don't want this comment to sound totally regio, it's just what they told me), obviously because Mexico City, besides being the most important city in the country, was the city was the most experience in this regard.

The record companies' attention was drawn by the fact that Monterrey was giving the cold sholder to mexico city as far as "people don't have to go to Mexico City to see bands and to rocknroll" here they can have the same possibilities, the talent is there and there are people, that's what drew the attention of the independent, national and transnational record companies and from there the whole movement called "avanzada regia" was born.

Thanks to the person who wrote this article, it's pretty interesting for the people who don't know the city or the musical mvmt.

By the way i am preparing a documentary about not only the movement in monterrey, but also the problems that musicians have to go through and the stress they have to carry to pursue their projects. it would be pretty interesting when it's released if i could give you a copy.

thanks

Roliberto

What do you mean by "original creations, such as raggamuffin"???????????????????????

Yes I agree that El Gran Silencio did something similar to raggamuffin, but it's not an original cration!!!! raggamuffin is caribbean!!! and La Verbena Popular didn't do raggamuffin or anything like it, it was pop music with a mix of vallenato.

THANKS.

Hello To all editors of this section, Cabrito Vudú writing, we are interested in updating the information about the very interesting subject that is the history of the AVANZADA REGIA movement. --Chochu1869 (discussion) 13:28 5 dec 2010 (UTC)

Some comments on the topic of Avanzada Regia:

- About the mix that El Gran Silencio does they have called it "Cumbiamuffin" - You have to remember that the aspect of metal and trash bands that there have been in monterrey since the end of the 80´s like Toxodeth and Mortuary whose exemplary vocalist Joel formed Pulsión, a very important band that although short-lived, was very well known and there are recordings comprised. Also in the punk scene like Cabezas Podridas and Disolución Social, which although they don't enter in the distribution of record companies they have had national circulation, and they were important back then because they were the base of the public that later brought fame to the groups that were signed. -It's important to mention also the program Desvelados de Juan Ramón Palacios that gave quite a bit of support to the diffusion of bands like El Gran Silencio, La Flor de Lingo, Cabrito Vudú; among others.
