Does this mean Page believed the density of water increased by a factor of 340?
If so, the article should point out how wrong he was. At a depth of one mile, "water only compresses less than one percent."[1]2601:281:D880:7880:147D:6835:95A1:2DFD (talk) 23:19, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The page states that "Since being discredited, the theory has been referenced widely in popular culture, such as Keble Ball 2017[...]." Does this refer to an event or an improperly formatted reference? More context would be useful if the former, or a citation if the latter.
