Formal charges have to be added to BODIPY structures (like in the bottom of the article), without them the structures are wrong. --Supermole1 (talk) 14:38, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

love the big literature update! Do you think we can include some new reviews on the potential applications of BODIPY? I'm thinking about photosensitizers, photodynamic therapy, and fluorescence imaging as there have been several top review papers now on those in recent years, in addition to the ones you have already linked! For example, photosensitization and controlled photosensitization with BODIPY dyes [1], as well as state of the art Bodipy-based photocatalysts in organic synthesis [2] Circador (talk) 20:54, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
