[edit]a separate page should be made for Baarle, Ghent
- I made the link, feel free to write a story! (As I did on the Dutch edition, I live only a few kilometers outside of Baarle in East Flanders, in the same Ghent borough, but in Luchteren). Belgian man 18:25, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Content fork?
[edit]To me, this article looks like an obvious content fork of Baarle-Hertog and Baarle-Nassau articles which both pre-date the expansion of this article (originally a redirect) in 2015. Unless the article can be justified (and restructured so that the two articles actually add to it), it should be returned to a redirect.—Brigade Piron (talk) 17:17, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
- To which article would you redirect it?! --Bermicourt (talk) 18:18, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
Unidiomatic English
[edit]A pity that - as so often on Wikipedia - this article has (clearly) been written by a Dutch-speaker who has not bothered to have the English text checked by a native English-speaker. Not that it can't be understood, at least as far as I can see - but I don't think Wikipedia should become a vehicle for unidiomatic English that will inevitably be copied by other non-native users, further reducing the quality of English usage not only on the Internet, but in the world in general. Literally translated Dutch, or Slovenian, or Thai (or whatever) is not English, even if the words seem to be.188.230.248.85 (talk) 16:49, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Don't be too harsh. If it were not for non-English translators, half the articles on their countries wouldn't exist. There are plenty of English speakers like yourself who are very capable of improving the English, so why not have a go? ☺ --Bermicourt (talk) 21:23, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
