Proposed Merge
[edit]I believe this article should be merged with Bartram Island. We have the same (imprecise) coordinates listed for both. Both names exist in the NIMA database, with the same feature ID (-1393934) and the same, more precise coordinates (32°22′33″N 64°41′37″W / 32.37583°N 64.69361°W).
If I had to choose a name, I'd choose Banjo. It's not much, but this Banjo Island article has slightly more information. Banjo Island has a Facebook page; it's evidently a popular camping spot. (You can see in one of the pictures on that page [1] a bridge that looks a lot like the bridge to the real island in Google Earth satellite imagery [2].) Finally (although I concede that this may be OR :-) ), the little round island and its bridge kinda look like a banjo.
I'll perform this merge in a week unless there are objections. —Steve Summit (talk) 03:43, 27 August 2014 (UTC)
- Support merge or redirect You may also consider redirecting both articles to List of islands of Bermuda if there aren't enough RS to support a standalone article. PaintedCarpet (talk) 19:54, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- With no other comments, I redirected it until the articles can be expanded beyond 1 sentence. PaintedCarpet (talk) 18:18, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
