[edit]It should be noted that many British shops refuse to accept £50 notes.213.205.252.226 (talk) 15:38, 3 November 2016 (UTC)

Alan Turing and gay representation
[edit]People have been praising the depiction of the first openly homosexual person on a banknote. While it is honourable the highest denomination is reserved for Turing, most people will never hold such a note in their hands and use it, which nullifies the hype. This is something worth mentioning. Newspapers haven't written about it yet, but I can't be the only one noticing this problem. However, his sexuality has been a topic in articles. --2001:16B8:3184:3600:D4B9:84E1:AEAD:A6FB (talk) 17:15, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
