One of the best articles I've ever reviewed for GA! A couple small things:
- There are a couple of links in the article that go to redirects that need to be fixed: MS DOS, Compact audio cassette, Computer keyboard, Boots Group.
- Under "development" you write "The game was published there under the title Axe of Rage and included a tattoo in its packaging". The first question that came to my mind immediately was "of what?" Is that information available? If so, I think it would benefit the article to include it.
- Unfortunately, no... the reviewers were impressed that the publishers included a tattoo, but failed to describe what the tatto was of. Jappalang (talk) 01:43, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- Not a big deal really, but just an FYI, when I moved to the United States and started using the word "marks", as in "Barbarian II received high marks...", no one had any clue what I was talking about. I know that this article is written in British English, but you may want to use another word, as it reads a bit colloquial to me. Or not, up to you. By the way, when looking up where you were from to make this comment, I noticed that you wrote Space Hulk (video game), which I also did the review for. Makes even more sense now why this article was so well written for the standards, you've been at this for a few years now!
- No problem, changed "high marks" to the simple "praise". Jappalang (talk) 01:43, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- A concern about prose, under reception you write "Because the difference between executing an attack and a movement was the pressing of the joystick button, they were irked to find their characters frequently switching directions instead of attacking with a low slash." You should rarely (if ever) start a sentence with "because", because it can almost always be replaced with "as" or "due to the fact that" etc. Here it makes the sentence awkward and difficult to read.
- Used "as". Jappalang (talk) 01:43, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
Other than these minor concerns, I think that there's a bit of an issue with comma use, but that's more my personal opinion anyways and not a reason to hold back a GA. I'll put the article on hold for up to seven days, although I doubt that you'll need that long, to allow for these small things to be dealt with. Canadian Paul 01:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for the compliments! I hope the article now meets the standards for a GA. Jappalang (talk) 01:43, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- It most certainly does! Everything looks great now, so I am therefore passing the article as a GA. Congratulations and thank you for all your hard work! Canadian Paul 01:56, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
