Chingford was not an 'East London suburb' when Barry Rose was born. It was a borough in the county of Essex and still relatively rural. It is now, of course, part of the rather artificial London Borough of Waltham Forest. To describe it as an 'East London suburb' is to make it sound like Dagenham or Bow, from which it will be a million miles away in character. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.59.159 (talk) 19:47, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
