@Gog the Mild: any policy-based approach to dealing with changes to a featured article? I think User:Jules Agathias has much to discuss. —— § erial 22:19, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As always, WP:FAOWN is a good place to start. Realising that conversations usually take place on talk pages rather than via edit summaries is also useful to grasp. If User:Jules Agathias had, then we would have been able to inform them that you were the co-nominator of this article for FAC and that Ian Rose was one of the two coordinators responsible for the Featured Article Candidate process.
I wonder if I was insufficiently clear with my edits here; what do you think? @Jules Agathias: you responded "Got it! Still kind of new to the whole process on english wikipedia. Thanks for the heads up" but are repeating the same behaviour. I don't understand. Gog the Mild (talk) 22:32, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

TFA

[edit]

Hi Gog and SN, can I suggest some possible tweaks in time for TFA tomorrow?

  • John Chandos, two important - wlink John Chandos
  • The north-eastern army was to be commanded by Robert Knolles - wlink (he is not wlinked in body prose)
  • John of Gaunt - wlink
  • Earl of Pembroke - wlink (only wlinked at map so far)
  • Caveley returned to Poitou - typo Calveley
  • Beaufort la Vallée - is Beaufort-en-Vallée?
  • Derval - wlink

Respectfully, JennyOz (talk) 14:48, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jenny, you are a star. Many thanks. I have not changed the Beaufort one; the source definitely gives Beaufort-la-Vallée and states that it is south of Rillé, not west. So I am going to have to go with the assumption that they are different places. Gog the Mild (talk) 15:49, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Gog, lookin' good! JennyOz (talk) 01:21, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
