There were two battles of Warsaw in 1914 (first in October, second in December, see [1]), and none in 1915 (the front was broken elsewhere and the Russians were forced to withdraw without fighting for the city, see map). For a detailed description of the first battle, see [2]. The second is presumably described here, though I am not sure.

The first battle is covered under Battle of the Vistula River. First Battle of Warsaw (1914) should probably redirect to it. The Second Battle of Warsaw (1914), if that is the right name for it, is still to be written.

However, there was no battle for Warsaw in 1915 so this article needs to be deleted, or moved to Russian Retreat from Warsaw (1915), though I don't see much point in having such an article. Balcer 06:12, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The second battle in 1914 is covered under Battle of Łódź (1914).
