Naming[edit]

A mild disagreement about the naming of this article, and its ensuing discussion can be found here. Tomertalk 08:48, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You made the argument that it was not a "massacre" bacause only seven people died, and calling it such would be POV pushing... I'd like to point out that five civilians died in the so called Boston Massacre. 72.131.59.27 (talk) 08:37, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I notice that a consensus was not reached, but that the majority would call it "massacre", so why is it still at this title? Hello, My Name Is SithMAN8 (talk) 21:57, 18 January 2009 (UTC) Here, I'll move it now. Hello, My Name Is SithMAN8 (talk) 22:04, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Year in the title[edit]

--Zelothes (talk) 20:13, 17 February 2010 (UTC)It would help to include the year in the title, so that it is easier to find in the US labor disputes category.--Zelothes (talk) 20:13, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Our naming conventions are that it goes by the common name. That is the Bayview Massacre. Not one in a hundred who knows about it even remembers the exact year, and it is not referred to by any name including the year. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:17, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinates[edit]

The coordinates given are for the historic marker, not the actual site of the shootings. GeorgeofOrange (talk) 01:23, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
