Infobox
[edit]- You say the genre is "Hip hop", yet you don't state this anywhere in the article. Either remove or reference
- "Lil Pump calls out those jacking his style in hip hop," This is confirmation of it being a hip hop song, as otherwise he wouldn't be doing so; you don't hear a hip hop song where Jay-Z calls out those jacking his style in pop or something like that.
@Cartoon network freak: Not every source has to directly state something for it to be included; if it is translated from the given information then I don't see why this can't be listed as hip hop. I'm not claiming it is because Lil Pump's wiki states that he is hip hop, it is because of the quote and this does give confirmation of it being hip hop, as Pump is also described as "rapping lines" so that is further evidence of the song as hip hop, since this is the purest form of rap. Therefore it can be listed. --Kyle Peake (talk) 14:28, 13 June 2019 (UTC)

Background
[edit]- track list → tracklist
- as one of the famous rap artists to be featured on the album → as one of the fellow rap artists to be featured on the album ("famous" is fancruft)
- The song's release was preceded by Lil Pump claiming that he's "the only reason why SoundCloud exists."[2] → This information is highly unnecessary and should be removed
- Rename this section to "Background and composition", unite both this and "Composition" in two paragraphs and include all songwriters of the song
Done all
Composition
[edit]- Quote "bouncy"
- Throughout it, Lil Pump calls out those jacking → Throughout "Be Like Me", Lil Pump calls out those jacking
- such as "Everybody wanna be like → such as: "Everybody wanna be like
- with the lyrics "Everybody wanna → same as above
- is at the end of the track and he utilizes Lil Pump's flow. → is at the end of the track, with him utilizing Lil Pump's flow
Done all
Release and reception
[edit]- as its seventh single.[8][6][9] → refs not in numerical order
- "Be Like Me" was released as the twelfth track → "Be Like Me" is the twelfth track
- album Harverd Dropout on February 22, 2019. → album Harverd Dropout, released on February 22, 2019.
- He had shared a photo of the track list via Twitter two days prior to release, which revealed it as the twelfth track.[1] → Highly unncessary; we already know the position on the tracklist and we don't want to know anything more about the album since this should focus on "Be Like Me" only
Done all
Music video
[edit]- The music video was officially released → No need to start the section that abruptly. Rewrite to: "An accompanying music video for "Be Like Me" was released ("officially" is superfluous)
- as Eminem's music video for → state "clip" or "visual" to avoid repetiton of words
- Release year for "The Slim Shady" in brackets
- and Lil Pump tweeted out "IM THE REAL SLIM SHADY" as promotion for the video → this is no promotion in that sense and can thus be removed
- Does he only respond in the music video or does the song itself also contain that phrase?
- Video only
- look-a-likes → look-alikes
- Link "Styrofoam"
- when rapping, while he is reflected in multiple mirrors → while rapping or being reflected in multiple mirrors
- Rename this section into "Music video and promotion" and also include the bit about the live performance here
- (jumping into the live performance section now)
- Lil Pump performed "Be Like Me" → For further promotion, ...
- with him breaking a banner, with confetti raining → with him breaking a banner and confetti raining
- cheer leaders → cheerleaders
Done all
Commercial performance
[edit]- Include this bit in the "Release and reception" section
- It's 4 sentences/3 lines and the section is already two paragraphs so this is notable.
- on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart → on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts (since your talking about both charts)
- The track fell down → "descended" is more encyclopedic
- The track charted at number 47 → The track further charted at number 47 (for better flow)
Done for the rest

[edit]- On hold for 7 days — Plenty of things to fix, but since this is a very short article, I'll give you a chance. Good luck with editing; Cartoon network freak (talk) 07:44, 12 June 2019 (UTC)
