[edit]I have placed this up for RFC because I believe there are more people out there with different opinions on if this article should stay or not. Most fire departments in the area, and throughout the United States have an article, some with even less context then this--English836 (talk) 19:05, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
First in area
[edit]Is there a citation out there for this "first in Dutchess County" part? The source that was given just says it was created in 1937. It doesn't say "it was created in 1937 and was the first in Dutchess County". Metros (talk) 23:53, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- My bad, I thought that 1) I was citing with this source, and 2) that it said it was the first in the county (and not just that it originated in 1937). Apologies. -FrankTobia (talk) 12:56, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- The page Beekman Fire History states it was formed in 1937, but If I recall prior to 1937, it existed under a different identity. I will try to look that up this morning.--English836 (talk) 03:26, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
