"Non-partisan blanket primary", not the common name
[edit]The article suggests that a "blanket primary" survives in something called a "non-partisan blanket primary", but there is scant evidence anyone says that term with any frequency. It has some sense to it, especially in context to the SCOTUS ruling against blanket primaries, however, common name is about what words people use, not what makes the most sense. It is mostly called a jungle primary, but often called a "top four" or "top two" [open] primary, whatever the case may be. 76.178.169.118 (talk) 18:21, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
