Coordinate error

[edit]

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for Blois Cathedral:

Currently, the English wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blois_Cathedral) and English geohack (this page, http://toolserver.org/~geohack/geohack.php?pagename=Blois_Cathedral&params=47_35_3_N_1_19_53_E_type:landmark_region:FR) give the coordinates as 47°35′3″N 1°19′53″E or 47.584167, 1.331389 but these are incorrect and refer to the Église Saint-Nicolas in the city of Blois, and not to the Cathédrale Saint-Louis de Blois as intended.

The French wikipedia (http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cath%C3%A9drale_Saint-Louis_de_Blois) and geohack (http://toolserver.org/~geohack/geohack.php?pagename=Cath%C3%A9drale_Saint-Louis_de_Blois&language=fr&params=47.588376_N_1.336196_E_type:landmark) have the correct coordinates for Cathédrale Saint-Louis de Blois, which are: 47°35′18.16″N 1°20′10.31″ E or 47.588376° 1.336196°.

Can someone more knowledgeable than me in wikipedia-editing make the appropriate corrections? I assume that if the above WGS coordinates were incorrect, that the UTM coordinates 31T 374534 5271433 may be wrong too, but I don't know how to check that. There may be other incorrect coordinate references other than those I pointed out above.

Hurricane?

[edit]

France had a hurricane? I realize that on the French version of this page it also says there was a hurricane -- and I heard someone on TV mention it too. But surely this exceptional meteorological phenomenon needs a reference. 89.157.239.36 (talk) 23:06, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
