Who was the voice of Betty Boop?

[edit]

If you look at the articles on the individual cartoons, most have Mae Questel listed as the voice of Betty. This article ascerts that some at least were Bonnie. Which is correct? NtheP (talk) 11:18, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

yes this is correct, Bonnie poe provided the voice for betty boop cartoons mainly from (1933) also her Filmography starts from the 1933 fleischer screen song (Boilesk) where she did various voice over roles. she also provided olive oyls debut voice for the early popeye the sailorman cartoons

she also played betty boop in the live action paramount short Hollywood on Parade No. A-8, but was also falsey credited as helen kane & sometimes Mae Questel.

also for the Aesop Fable cartoons Bonnie was (falsey) credited as doing voice roles, when really it was margie hines the other betty boop voice actress.

In the betty boop cartoons she was always (uncredited). so mae questel was listed as doing all of the voices which was untrue. what is true is that mae questel did the most voice overs for the ( Betty Boop Cartoons) Bonnie poes voice sounds very diffrent to (Mae Questels) and she can easily be told apart from questel.

Raypointer Fleischer historian & Cartoon historian pointed out Bonnie poes roles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.30.81.20 (talk) 08:19, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
