Country codes

Someone needs to go through the article and decide on either 2 letter country codes (CZ, SE, SK, etc) or 3 letter country codes (CZE, SWE, SVK, etc). Keep in mind per WP:NOTUSA, the United States should be denoted as (US), regardless of the decision made. Personally, I think 3 letter codes work better. I am not aware of any policies/MOS/guidelines about country codes; however, there may be one explaining which we use on WP, of which I am unaware.
