It is worth mentioning, I think, that in Bushroot's origin episode, Darkwing showed a rather uncharacteristic willingness to use deadly force against a foe, even though he had no way of knowing of Bushroot's ability to regenerate. Guess Darkwing never learned to like his veggies. toonbat@yahoo.com
Eh, not really. It's just one of those superhero things... they somehow instinctively know just what level of violence is okay to keep their personal oaths or whatever. -RannXXV 00:16, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
I just want to point out that Dr. Reginald Bushroot is my alltime favorite character from Darkwing Duck. - Zarbon
Quick question: Bushroot has been categorized under the category Category:Fictional murderers. Uhh, murdered who? May I remind you that Darkwing Duck was a family show. Also, I dont remeber it ever even being implied (as it is with Megavolt). Could someone expand on this? if not, I'm going to remove this cat. (Animedude 20:50, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- He killed Gary and Larson, the two rival scientists who had bullied him and sabotaged his experiment. They're wrapped up in vines and then shown later as lifeless, ivy-covered figures. He also attempts to kill the dean, Tightbill, but Darkwing stops him and saves Tightbill. So Bushroot committed two murders and attempted a third. While a family show, Darkwing Duck had a few deaths. Gary and Larson, Taurus Bulba (later resurrected though), Bud Flood (ditto), and F.O.W.L.'s Major Synapse, to name a few. There's also overt mention of Bulba having murdered Gosalyn's grandfather Professor Waddlemeyer, and Gosalyn herself says her birth parents are dead. The show touched on death a lot actually.- Kooshmeister
Yes, but does implying the deaths of two people really make someone a "mass murderer"? That just sounds wrong, especially on a Disney page. Can we at least remove the "mass" part? 70.250.201.107 04:12, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Dr. Gary and Dr. Larson made camoes on "Going Nowhere Fast," and they sure don't look dead to me. 70.244.241.31 03:35, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Bushroots realy an actor!!
[edit]In "A Star is Scorned" Bushroot is revealed to be an not-very bright 1970's type disco fever actor who arouses Drake Mallard/Darkwing Duck jealously when Bushroot is taken to the studio in a limo-and Drake/Darkwing has to sneak in disguised as Donald Duck!
That episode is extremely non-canon...you might as well claim Darkwing really hails from another planet and Negaduck is his cousin, as stated in another non-canon episode. Also, correct spelling and grammar are very important in getting people to take your ideas serious. 70.255.149.187 (talk) 20:12, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
