BI 2.0 is “open loop” (real time analysis with input as the events occur) - trying to mix AI with BI ?
Why AI ? AI is not mentioned anywhere.. this paragraph just tries to explain that BI is much more real-time - in a technological sense but also in process sense (virtual semantic data integration is intuitive and adaptive) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Triadic2000 (talk • contribs) 04:55, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
I found something that is more or less wrong ... "intelligence" through web-services ... i changed this to "flexible, composable and adaptive" (2nd paragraph) (this was also Triadic2000 ... sorry.. was logged out)
open loop versus closed loop
[edit]As I understand it - the terms are currently used in the wrong sense in this article. I would expect BI2.0 to be closed loop and thus a part of a feedback loop. Open loop would imply there's no feedback in the system. I'll change this in a few days if nobody has any points to make. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.176.71 (talk) 21:27, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Merge
[edit]The topic Real-time business intelligence seems an unnecessary variation on the same topic. I propose it is merged to this article. Fæ (talk) 16:54, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
This proposition does not serve the purpose of the two articles. BI 2.0 is derived from Web 2.0 ... there is all about new processes supported by new tools and technologies (like semantic web standards)... whereas the topic of real-time is focusing on the latency aspects. two different things! hope this makes sense. thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Triadic2000 (talk • contribs) 22:04, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
