request for deletion

[edit]

This article was created by someone in Denmark, probably affiliated with the company. Their claims of "independent" publications mentioning their products consisted of one press release and one commercial convention where they were a paying attendee. This article is commercial spam and should be deleted.

no deletion

[edit]

This is not spam, and the accusations are false. Both Bio-IT World and GenomeWeb are truly independent media - you can't buy an article and the articles linked we're of no such nature. However you can advertise in these, like you can in Nature or Science, but that doesn't make them less credible, does it? I think someone in New Zealand should sign their claims and back them up with valid arguments! Don G.

Advertising and notability

[edit]

I agree with the original complainant. The advertising blurb needs to be replaced with a meaningful description of the company. "High-performance computing" in and of itself tells us nothing. "Garnering considerable positive attention" is pure weasel wordage. Apart from the name of the company, where it is and what it does, there's nothing here for wikipedia. and hence, I suggest Don G. (re-)reads the policies on advertising and notability before defending the article from deletion. I would rather see energy spent on writing entries for Danish biotech and pharma companies like Neurosearch, LEO Pharma, Bavarian Nordic, Santaris and Symphogen (to name a few) than this pointlessness.
