Contested deletion[edit]

This was marked for deletion about 10 seconds after I put the first content in. The reason for deletion is "no context". I put more content in and this caused a conflict. Give me a few minutes, I'm not a bot. ... Seabhcan 11:40, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The wikipedia guidelines state "This applies only to very short articles. Context is different from content, treated in A3, below. Caution is needed when using this tag on newly created articles." This article is not very short, and does provide context. I believe that the poster who put this sd tag did not show "Caution is needed when using this tag on newly created articles" given that he taged it seconds after the article was created. ... You are right - the article should not have been tagged for A1 deletion. But mistakes do happen, and there is at least one other human who reviews the deletion tags before actually carrying out the deletion, so it usually works out OK in the end :) Anyway, the deletion tag has now been removed.
