Canada's Drag Race Logo.jpg Can someone change it to this please — Preceding unsigned comment added by FinleyBridge1989 (talk • contribs) 16:30, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, in the infobox, why is the 'RuPaul's Drag Race' logo there? Shouldn't there be a unique title card specific to Canada's Drag Race? ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:38, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
@Another Believer: an image of the title card can be found [1], idk if someone can use that or if someone else needs to take their own screenshot. I only know how to upload to WikiMedia when the title screen is just text/uncopyrightable but this probably has too much for that so someone needs to use fair use rationales. Title?
Drag Race Canada or Canada's Drag Race? ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:07, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
- As of right now, the sources are still conflicting on this — certainly some of the judge-announcement coverage yesterday shifted from "Drag Race Canada" to "Canada's Drag Race", but not all of it did, and "Canada's Drag Race" was never seen at all before yesterday. For examples, ET Canada went with "Canada's Drag Race", while Daily Xtra stuck with "Drag Race Canada". So taking all of the pre-yesterday coverage into account, the preponderance of sources are still clearly on the Drag Race Canada side of the equation, so we have to stay with that here until such time as sources definitively address the name issue one way or the other. Where to view in Canada
The show is not available on Outtv in Canada. They lost the rights to air the show. It is a Crave exclusive in Canada and the only place to watch it in Canada. Can you please edit that. Thanks. JanetSmithet (talk) 04:30, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
Lemon's age
Hi, in the Contestants section, Lemon's age should be 23, as that's the age shown next to her name when in confessionnal on the show: [1] 24 is her age as of right now. Gabrielrscott (talk) 02:49, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
- Done, I can confirm the episode 1 chyron does list her as 23. And I’m also adding a reflist to keep your footnote in this section.

Hi, I wonder if it would be possible to a contestant's name to her existing wiki page. Rita Baga already has a pretty complete Wiki page, but in the French Wikipedia (she's from french-speaking Quebec). In the regular seasons of Drag Race, the name of the contestant in the "contestant progress" section generally links to the contestant's main wiki page.
So here's the possible link: Rita Baga. Wiki page : https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rita_Baga
Thanks for your time and work,
A drag race fan. Laceoflight (talk) 14:48, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
- Done @Laceoflight: done using Template:Interlanguage link as in Rita Baga. As Rita Baga exists as a redirect to the present article, the link appears blue, but there will also be the link to the French Wikipedia until an English language article exists. Umimmak (talk) 15:33, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

Jade Hassouné is now twice in the list because he was listed already and then got added for episode 2. His name in the second column should be deleted. --Blobstar (talk) 16:07, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
- Done, thanks for catching that. Umimmak (talk) 21:32, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
BOA's name
Hi, BOA's name in the Contestants and Contestant progress sections should be written in caps, as her name is an acronym. It's also in caps on the show: [1] Gabrielrscott (talk) 00:32, 13 July 2020 (UTC)

Kyne's farewell message on the mirror for episode 2 is "I love you Tynomi" next line is "I love you all" next line is "Think of me fondly, now that I've said goodbye" final line is "-Kyne" So it looks like this on the mirror:
I love you Tynomi I love you all Think of me fondly, now that I've said goodbye -Kyne Vocalyocal (talk) 21:22, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

Minor edit and new Wiki
Hey Squirrel Friends! As I do not yet have access to edit, I would like to make those who can aware that on the wikibox it states that there are 3 episodes however there have been 4 so far. As this is an on going tv show that will need to be updated each week. Also for those curious I have made a Wiki about Rita Baga in English which is currently pending approval and I plan to make more for some of the other queens later. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 05mtobdzic (talk • contribs) 21:00, 27 July 2020 (UTC)

- Gabrielrscott Cornsilk needs to be removed. Per WP:COLOUR you can't use colour alone to provide information therefore we can't have two categories of people labelled safe but with different colours. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 08:34, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
Contestant progress
Why has the cornsilk "SAFE" (used for mixed/losing team critiques) been removed and replaced with pointless asterisks? It makes it look like Priyanka was sent backstage this week when she recieved critiques like everyone else. The format should really be consistent with other Drag Race articles. 2A00:23C4:3A80:7600:5879:516D:C53B:AFE7 (talk) 14:59, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
- Agreed. The cornsilk template should be present as it's consistent with the other Drag Race tables, and it's a different template that needs a key note, as the white background "SAFE" simply means the queen was sent backstage without critique. So it should be on the table. MSMRHurricane (talk) 00:19, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
Agreed, @Nyxaros is continuing to implement this change without actually giving a proper reason or gaining a consensus to do it. Their argument is that there is no consensus for a cornsilk safe, which maybe true, but this is used across all drag race articles and has been for years, so if they are wanting to implement a change of their own, they need to give a valid reason for it. Billwebster91 (talk) 05:34, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
- Per MOS:COLOUR, colour alone cannot convey information therefore we can't use SAFE with two different colours within the same table. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }-
- I've already used another method without using tons of other colors, unlike you, that doesn't remove the normal "SAFE" description and that doesn't get too complicated. All of them mean the contestant was safe in the end. Other stuff exists doesn't mean they are correct. I've provided multiple edit summaries explaining, instead of complaining you should've read them and try to understand all the points of view. Just because some of you randomly added colors to a template without a consensus doesn't mean they should be applied to every Drag Race article. nyxærös 17:21, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
- Nyxaros I don't know who your comment is directed at - I didn't make the changes to this article. Just merely noted that we need to be careful using colour as the only method to distinguish/convey information. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 10:53, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

Season 2
Season 2 has been announced: https://ew.com/tv/canadas-drag-race-season-2-confirmed/
We might consider forking content to Canada's Drag Race (season 1) and Canada's Drag Race (season 2) when the time's right. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:46, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Bearcat: I see you've edited this article quite a bit. Do you feel comfortable forking season 1-related content over to Canada's Drag Race (season 1) appropriately? We'll want to include the attribution template on both article talk pages, of course. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:57, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- It goes without saying, and I simply assumed, that this article would get split into multiple season articles (just as reality shows routinely are) once a Season 2 was actually confirmed. (And I'm surprised that took as long as it did.) The only question I have, and I'm of two minds about, is whether we should do that now, or whether we should wait until there's enough information about S2 to support both articles being spun off simultaneously with each other (as opposed to S1 being spun off today, while S2 remains a redirect back here until there's new information). I'm inclined to wait until they can both be created in unison, but wouldn't stand in the way of a broader consensus to spin off S1 now if that's what other people would prefer.
- The irony, of course, is that we had to do the exact opposite in the case of Canada's Got Talent several years ago — that got created as a series overview article and a separate Season 1 article from the start, but then it did poorly enough in the ratings that no second season ever happened at all, so eventually we just merged the articles.
- So yeah, spinning off into separate season articles is the obvious path here now. It's just a question of whether we do it now, or let it simmer on the back burner until we know S2's premiere date and cast. Bearcat (talk) 15:28, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- Bearcat, I think we should fork as soon as this article has a series overview (or similar) like RuPaul's_Drag_Race_UK#Series_overview. In other words, once there's production info for Season 2, I think Season 1 info should be moved over. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:49, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- Okay, I guess we're on the same page, then. I'll keep an eye out for any worthwhile information about S2 over the coming weeks and months, but if it's only just going into casting now it obviously isn't going to actually air for several months yet. Bearcat (talk) 17:36, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- And then irony bit me in the ass on the Canada's Got Talent comparison: spinoff articles will now have to return there too, because the second season that never happened in 2012 is now happening in 2022. Darn you, Hayden Mindell! Bearcat (talk) 21:13, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Reminder, we'll want to fork out List of Canada's Drag Race episodes as well. With these new pages, we'll also want to create a Canada section at Template:RuPaul's Drag Race. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:53, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

Split tag
@SunriseInBrooklyn: I see you've added a split tag to the article. Just FYI, we've already made plans to split this article, but not until the season 2 premiere date is announced. Does this work for you? ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:28, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: I agree. Sunrise In Brooklyn ✉ 17:47, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- SunriseInBrooklyn, Great, thanks! Unless you object, I'd invite you to go ahead and remove the tag. I'm quite confident this page will be split as soon as a premiere date is announced, so the tag is not necessary IMO. Thanks again! ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:49, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

Fork
I've been bold and forked out Canada's Drag Race (season 1). I know we were considering waiting until the premiere date was confirmed, but the special next week may offer confirmation and there's already quite a bit of confirmed information to add for Season 2. No season 2 entry yet, but at least now we have something for Season 1. @Bearcat: I hope you approve of the fork. There may be more content to move over, but I wasn't sure if some of the content was intended to cover the series as a whole so for now I've just moved over the most obvious Season 1-related content. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:20, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- Not a problem. We're pretty damn close, for sure. I haven't seen any express confirmation that the reunion special will definitely include a Season 2 announcement in and of itself — but it is definitely including an introduction of the new S2 judges, so it's a fairly safe bet that there will be some kind of new information bundled in with that and/or not very far behind. The Fugues source that I used also notes (correctly) that rumours of an October premiere are fairly rampant now. (A propos of nothing, why was it so easy to find a French source for the reunion special, yet I still can't find hide nor hair of an English one?) So yeah, we're at the point where if we don't fork now we'll still be forking sooner rather than later anyway. Bearcat (talk) 01:51, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- Bearcat, Great, thanks for the support. Please feel free to move over any other Season 1 content from this article. Looking forward to a Season 2 page soon! ---Another Believer (Talk) 01:52, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
Out of date info
I don't have extended protection rights, but in the infobox it still says there's only been 1 season and 10 episodes. Please can someone update it? Thanks! LotT (talk) 14:07, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
"Canada's First Drag Superstar"
Shouldn't "Canada's First Drag Superstar" be moved to the season 1 article? How can the season 2 and season 3 winners be the first drag superstar? -- 65.92.246.142 (talk) 20:36, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
