Why does illustration show Latin glyphs?[edit]

Why on earth does the image illustrating this article (Chandas_sample.svg) show Latin glyphs when this is a principally Devanagri typeface?

BTW - While the article certainly needs improvement, I oppose the suggestion for deletion. The font is notable as it supports a very comprehensive range of conjuncts and vedic accents which are not supported by other Devanagri fonts but needed for setting some old Sanskrit texts.
