I am the author of the original content. I am in the middle of editing it for the web for wikipedia and wish to be given more time. ([User talk:Cafefrog[) 17:17, 17 June 2008

You should probably do that before creating the article. We're not going to run out of disk space any time soon. That being said, you should ideally rewrite this article from scratch, unless you're willing to license the web page under the GFDL.-Wafulz (talk) 16:48, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will license the website content under GFDL as the document was taken from a public city document and therefore is public domain. I will enter the statement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cafefrog (talkcontribs) 17:08, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Websites containing local history information have been released under the GNU license. Meta tag is in the HTML. Cafefrog 17:29, 17 June 2008. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cafefrog (talkcontribs)

Okay, thanks. Be sure to take a look at our new contributors' help page.-Wafulz (talk) 17:39, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's all well and good, but frankly, Wikipedia articles that are mere legal copy-and-paste jobs are not desirable. After all, it's just a regurgitation of the website. You're OK on legal grounds, but I strongly suggest that you do a rewrite. Quite honestly, the detailed history of a small-city library is not that interesting to most Wikipedia readers. This article would be much better if it were more concise and succinct, and of course the original article will still be available through the link to the web site. You don't have to do thia all at once, of course. But give it some thought. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 04:28, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
