Please mention the importance of sanitation

[edit]

Well done on this new article! I think if you talk about child health and nutrition in Africa you need to also mention at least more than once the issue of lack of sanitation and how that affects health. So please think about how to include sanitation. You might also want to integrate this link: water supply and sanitation in Sub-Saharan Africa.EMsmile (talk) 11:17, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think it could be interesting to add more context about the history of colonization within Africa and how that has led to an increased incidence of undernutrition and consequent health issues within the continent of Africa. This could be done by diving into colonization within Africa, consequent monocropping that was present, how this led to less diversity in crops, and how malnutrition has resulted from this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:F140:400:23:4CA9:4A02:79F1:ACA3 (talk) 22:49, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
