The band is not something that was made up in school so i therefore reverted it to it's original state. I know your best intentions were at heart and i don't want any trouble but i have the endorsement of thid from other users. the following is a comment left on my talk page regarding the creation of an article about the band that was not accepted.

"Yeah; Wikipedia really requries some sort of charting-release or significant media-hype/radio-play for a group. Articles can always be recreated at more appropriate times! Alternatively, if the charity is notable, you could create an article on them and include a sentence or two on the band, whose page could then redirect to the charity. --Robdurbar 20:31, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

notability[edit]

This organization may well be notable for Wikipedia, but this is unclear since no secondary sources are cited. By the notability criteria for organizations, independent reliable sources are required to make sure that the subject is notable. These sources might be press coverage, or books in which the organization is mentioned. The sources may, but need not, be available online; it is however important that they are explicitely cited.

For the time being, I am replacing the “importance” tag with “notability”. Sorted as part of the Notability wikiproject. --B. Wolterding 16:08, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
