Restoring page after deletion[edit]

I have just restored this article which had been deleted. I believe that the deletion process was not appropriate: a tag was placed on the page by User:Vegaswikian on Nov 24, 2010, with PROD notice, with stated reason : notability concern. The page was deleted after noone had objected during the following 7 days. BUT:

  • Neither the creator of the article nor other contributors have been notified of the PROD.
  • The summary given when the notice was added was "more specific category", which is misleading for someone following the article
  • The article mentions that "It is one of the largest public housing estates in Wong Tai Sin District", which hints at notability. In any case, a deletion without notice and without discussion is not appropriate.

I am therefore restoring the article. Please gather a consensus before re-deleting it. Also, a merge with Public housing estates in Ngau Chi Wan might be a desirable option. Thank you. olivier (talk) 21:33, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
