Explain the optical isomerism[edit]

This article is confusing because the infobox shows only one enantiomer, and the text does not explain that the ion actually has two. The section on separating diastereomeric salts of a chiral anion will not be useful to a reader who has not first understood that the cation has two enantiomers.

The drawing should be revised to show both enantiomers, as in the article on the tris(en) complex Tris(ethylenediamine)cobalt(III) chloride. We do already have drawings of both enantiomers at Octahedral molecular geometry#Chirality; can someone incorporate these into the infobox? Also the text should include a specific mention of the optical isomerism with an appropriate link, and explain the objective of the separation of diastereomeric salts. OK, I have added images of the two enantiomeric ions imported from Octahedral molecular geometry#Chirality. It may appear that I have mis-identified the enantiomers, as the image file whose name starts with Delta is labelled Λ in the article and vice versa. However this conforms to Octahedral molecular geometry#Chirality and is explained at Talk:Octahedral molecular geometry#Chirality? - the diagrams were originally mislabelled as noticed by Kelix, and corrected by Smokefoot on 6 October 2007, and I have followed Smokefoot's labelling.
