How to

[edit]

This article is basically an instruction manual on how to put out a grease fire. The first sentence is the only information that is specifically about telling us what a grease fire is. The second sentence tells us that other nearby flammables may become involved in the fire. The rest is all about telling us how to (or not) put out the fire. The second and third paragraph should be removed from the article. - GB fan 12:42, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect? Merge?

[edit]

We already have a well written text on this: Chip_pan#Fire_hazard. I suggest to make it a redirect. Yintan  13:59, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've gone in a different direction and expanded the article to cover all Class B fires (of which cooking oil/grease is just a subset). Assuming this is OK with you, I'm dropping the merge tag. Feel free to put it back if you object. Neutralitytalk 00:52, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Not at all, this is fine with me. Yintan  06:47, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The commons category could use a bit of fixing considering this. Shall I handle it? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 06:53, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
