An entry on him from Stevens, Walter B. Centennial History of Missouri (The Center State) One Hundred Years In The Union 1820-1921 Vol 6. St. Louis-Chicago: The S.J. Clarke Publishing Company. 1921 is reprinted here with a quite detailed account of his life to that point including his wife and daughters and various organizational efforts he led as well as departments he led and educational details. It's in a downloadable pdf so I don't know how to cite it but apparently he headed Tuskegee's English department and was part of the school's delegation led by Booker T. Washington's that visited Southern University A&M in 1915. FloridaArmy (talk) 15:22, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
