I cannot seem to be able to comment on the Arkansas Koeppen map which has the entire state lime green for Cfa. That map utilises the -3°C coldest-month standard and I feel that 0°C is much more realistic a boundary. Under the latter, areas in the Ozarks to the north and the Boston Mountains are high enough to be hot-summer humid continental (Dfa), which they ARE. After all, I live in Allentown, Pennsylvania which falls in this transition zone. You have to be kidding people (or trying) in Allentown if you tell them that their climate is humid subtropical, especially when you see what happens some winters here.
