internal structure of clitoral glans[edit]

There needs to be detailed information on the internal structure of the clitoral glans.

From what i've heard it has erectile tissue (more specifically corpora cavernosa). Obviously, it has to have blood vessels and nerves in it, and well as blood vessels and nerves going in and out of it.

Beyond that, there is still a lot I don't know about it. Gringo300 03:15, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Here, a picture (or perhaps a diagram) is worth a thousand words. Al 03:37, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

relationship with frenulum clitoridis[edit]

This article also needs to tell exactly what the relationship is between the clitoral glans and the frenulum clitoridis. Gringo300 05:56, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

innervation citation[edit]

is there a citation for the claim, "...containing as many nerve endings as the analogous organ in males..."? I have never seen a citation for this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.174.250.138 (talk) 12:24, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Size and shape of a pea?[edit]

What exactly does this article mean by the clitoral glans is the size and shape of a pea? Is it talking about the entire external clitoris, or just the part that protrudes from the hood at certain times? And, is it different than the "head" of the clitoris marked in this photo? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.192.27.1 (talk) 04:46, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
