Has anyone backmasked this? Supposedly you can hear 'I'm so wicked' somewhere in the song
Sven De Grote: Yes, it is backmasked. Aren't we all wicked?
The Cream song called "Cocaine" is different from this song then? thats the impression i got from the "list of songs about drugs" page.. Teutanic 18:16, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:J.J. Cale Troubadour.jpg
[edit]Image:J.J. Cale Troubadour.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:09, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Anti-cocaine?
[edit]The song "Cocaine" is anti-cocaine? You have got to be shitting me.... The quotes in the article are deliberately misleading. Captainbeefart (talk) 12:32, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
- No, no they are not. "If you want to get down, down on the ground, cocaine. Don't forget this fact, you can't get it back, cocaine." Which part of that exactly don't you understand? Most people don't realise it's an anti-cocaine song simply because they don't listen to the lyrics. Freikorp (talk) 00:48, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
JJ Cale, not Clapton
[edit]Its a bit annoying that this article focuses so much on the Clapton version. I never knew that Clapton version, only the JJ Cale version. If Justin Beaver did a wonder-hit of a Donavon song , would you go on about Bieber throughout the whole article supposed to be about the song originally written and recorded by Donovan? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.63.50.134 (talk) 03:18, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- No, because you're likely the only person on the planet who can claim to have never known the Clapton version of the song. I'd reckon most people don't even know it's not a Clapton original. Lizard (talk) 00:22, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
