  • This is not a forum for this type of question. It is also a difficult question to answer. Alan Liefting 23:25, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

invention of columns as a text format[edit]

When did text start being formatted in columns? Who did it and what was their motivation? Crasshopper 14:36, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

The current page for Columnist is more a list than anything else; it might be more appropriate to move it to "List of columnists" or a similar title. --Aarktica 14:49, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

I totally concur with this sentiment. HuskyHuskie (talk) 17:24, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
I disagree somewhat; move the list of notable columnists to "List of notable columnists", and leave the article with a stub-tag in my opinion. I think there's a decent article on this subject waiting to be written. I DO agree that the list of columnists taking up most of the space is kind of silly. Sounds like a reasonable compromise. After you, M. Foi. HuskyHuskie (talk) 19:03, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
