Needed Improvements[edit]

Comedy Death-Ray now redirects here, as it should. This page should be expanded to cover both the history of CDR, as well as the ongoing Comedy Bang Bang UCB show and the podcast (and the former radio component). CDR as a brand name doesn't really exist any more and doesn't have a life independent of CBB. Also the upcoming IFC show should be given mention. 71.119.35.142 (talk) 14:18, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree somewhat. Comedy Death Ray was an independent show. Comedy Bang Bang is a corporately-named network show. I realize they present it as being a continuation of the same show, but objectively I'm not sure that's the case. 68.58.155.170 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:12, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Production[edit]

I believe in one of the episodes, Scott mentions that Comedy Bang Bang is produced by Absolutely. 24.138.105.38 (talk) 17:14, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The TV show is, but the podcast is still an Earwolf production. T.Douglas.Fairbanks (talk) 20:08, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reception Section[edit]

The reception section reads like an ad. I'm not really sure it is appropriate to format it the way it currently is. Dermato1 17:08, 20 December 2014 (UTC)

"Format and Features" needs some cleaning up[edit]

I've always found that section a bit odd, but I'm not sure exactly how to fix it. Half of it is taken up by a list of improv-style games, a large majority of which are almost never actually done on the podcast nowadays. Recent episodes tend to just be talking with the guests all the way from the intro to the "plugs" section (which actually is a major section of the podcast considering its specialty of having a new song for its intro every time and a closing theme which changes consistently and is usually sung by Aukerman and some of his guests–all of that is stuck in a footnote currently). I'm not entirely sure how to clean it up though... the program itself nowadays is pretty loose, with it generally being Aukerman introducing his first guest(s), which tend to not be playing characters, and then introducing other guests throughout the show, which almost always are playing characters. Then they talk for a while, the plug section happens with its intro and outro, and then the show is over. The show tends to have evolving plotlines across episodes as well especially when character guests return multiple times, though the intimate details of those are probably better off left in the CBB wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suddenlywolf (talkcontribs) 22:15, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Episode list[edit]

I've WP:BLANKANDREDIRECTed the List of Comedy Bang! Bang! episodes to this article. If anyone disagrees with this choice feel free to revert it. TipsyElephant (talk) 02:02, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

How do we revert it? The episode list was helpful in finding out what guests and characters appeared on a given episode. Arsenalroy2k (talk) 04:56, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
