A fact from Congratulations (Silvía Night song) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 22 August 2006. The text of the entry was as follows:
...You've been waiting and waiting for me to save you", thus contending that the other entries of that year are things to be saved from
I always took this line as meaning that she was here to save Iceland itself from their previous failures to win. Surely that's what the whole song is about. Otherwise why would it say "waiting and waiting" (indicating a period of many years) rather than referring to that year's songs?--Tuzapicabit (talk) 23:32, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
