Belgium

Belgium has in linguistic terms not been a francophone country for many years. The dominant language is the Flemish variant of Dutch and Dutch is spoken by about 60% of the population. About 40% of the population speak French, while a relatively small number of people in the east of the country speak German. These days Belgium is politically dominated by Dutch speakers as well. I suggest moving Belgium to the other languages group. Everybody got to be somewhere! (talk) 22:20, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
