Proposed expansion to this article

[edit]

I'm preparing to expand this article page, but I'd like to tread carefully, as I am the Purveyor of Precision for Cranium, Inc. I'd like to expand the stub to include up-to-date facts about the company's origins, product development, industry awards, and other general-interest information. I will cite sources and the tone will be purely informational. Is there a potential for conflict here, or should I feel free to update this and potentially other related articles? Thanks! Please note that Wikipedia is not a marketing tool. So the article should be written in a formal and encyclopaedic tone and should not contain any self-promotional material. Links should be to independent sources only. See WP:CORP and WP:SPAM for details. FelisLeoTalk! 07:08, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tips. With my strong academic background -- I was a college English instructor for four years after grad school -- I'm sure I could have offered an expansion to this article you'd approve of. Unfortunately, the very day after I made this proposal, I was laid off with more than 20% of the staff. Sadly, the many pages of research and documentation I compiled were lost. Alas. Perhaps you can imagine that my taste for applying my talents to sharing encyclopedic information about the company has soured. I do, however, look forward to engaging in the Wikipedia Project with regard to my myriad other interests. Thanks!! Taopoet 17:54, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to hear that, I hope, with the {{unsourced}} tag on it, it will be expanded nevertheless. FelisLeoTalk! 18:14, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly wrong Richard Tait linked

[edit]

The article states that two former microsofties founded Cranium. Then, in the summary block (right side of screen) one name (Richard Tait) is hyperlinked to a british politician. I'm not sure, so didn't edit; but I don't think they're the same guy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.118.165.169 (talk) 18:40, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

159.118.165.169, you are correct. I have removed the Wikilink for Richard Tait as it pointed to the wrong person. Peaceray (talk) 19:09, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
